• Basic Chart Reading, Course Plotting, Anchoring, Right of Way, VHF Radio, Emergency and Safety Procedures are included.

Navigation and Electronics for Beginners
• 10 to 15 hours in 2 to 4 sessions
• Fundamentals of chart reading, course plotting, position fixing.
• Integration of Electronic Charting to create and follow waypoints, routes, and cruise plans.
• Use of Cruising Guides and Tide & Current Information.
• Fundamental use of RADAR.
• Course culminates in a Training Voyage through the more intricate harbors and buoy systems in Western Long Island Sound, or your own local area. Practical application of all skills are experienced in real-time, hands-on situations.

Intermediate To Advanced Sailboat Handling
• 6 to 12 hours in 1 to 2 sessions

Coastal, Offshore, and Ocean Passage Training
